This is a weekly series for The Regulatory Reporting Data Model Working Group. The RRDMWG is a collaborative group of insurers, regulators and other insurance industry innovators dedicated to the development of data models that will support regulatory reporting through an openIDL node. The data models to be developed will reflect a greater synchronization of data for insurer statistical and financial data and a consistent methodology that insurers and regulators can leverage to modernize the data reporting environment. The models developed will be reported to the Regulatory Reporting Steering Committee for approval for publication as an open-source data model.

openIDL Community is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Minutes

I. Introductory Comments

A. Peter Antley read LF anti-trust statement

B. Introductory comments by Mr. Braswell

II. Updates

A. PA: working on networking and understanding blockchain components of existing solution

B. PA: has also been meeting with JB to talk about where we're going next and what makes sense

  1. Not many more questions for the auto
  2. Thinking maybe some strong work looking ahead is converting homeowners into stat plan.
  3. Question about the possibility of temp. suspending this group. (SC: not in favor of suspending this group - we can move into homeowners regardless of AWG).
  4. PA: sees homeowners as being a much quicker process. Recyclable - we should be able to use many of the calculations that we've already developed for auto. (SC: not many
  5. We also have Hanover - they don't currently work with our stat plans. We will start by working through homeowners and reviewing the basic elements.
  6. Ultimately we'll be moving into catastrophe reporting.
  7. PA: looking at how many KPIs and story points we need first - wants to get estimates on what will be

C. Group will be suspended temporarily until Dec. 9th.
